I am installing a Renishaw OTS on a new machine with a Fanuc Oi controller.
I have set it up and run the calibration cycle.
Everything appears to be working well except the radius geometry output.
When I measure the tool, the radius geometry is output as the full radius of the tool.
(a .498 diameter end mill is output as .249 in the too radius geometry.)
I need the output to be the delta value of the difference between the expected radius and the measured radius.
(a .498 diameter end mill programmed as .500 = radius geometry output should be -.001)
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the desired output?

Renishaw usually come with a set of macro's, in the 0 it would be the 9000's.
You could modify one or write your own?

I wrote my own sub program to do the math and adjust the value in the offset address to be what I need.
It works good, but I would rather just adjust whatever needs to be adjusted inside the Renishaw programs/variables.
That way I don't need an external sub program that needs to run with the toolsetting macro program.
I just cant believe there is not an option within the Renishaw software to change the output.
Most part programs that I have ever seen are programmed using the tool diameter. The current output from OTS is for a programmed zero diameter tool.
