    Adding 4th Axis to RoboDrill - How do I set the machine to see the 4th axis?

    I have a Robodrill D14Mia5 with a 31I/M5 controller that came stock with 3 axis.

    I added a Fanuc servo amp and motor to the machine as per the manual, but the machine dosent see it.

    Is there a way I can get the machine to see the 4th axis so I can run my 4th axis?

    That is an option to add axes. An option file needs to be uploaded to the control and the proper servo parameters set. Unfortunately, you will have to consult your dealer about getting that updated.
