Red face Hopeless newbie needs help with NEMA size

Can anyone out there direct me to a site that details standard NEMA sizes/dimensions for steppers? I just bought 3 Sanyo-Denki Step-Syn Nema 23 motors on ebay but haven't gotten them yet. I looked all over NEMA's site but couldn't find dimensional information (I'm assuming the numbers refer to dimensions, or do they?!?). I'm dying to start a CAD drawing of my first attempt at a CNC router. Needless to say, I've got a long way to go.

Here is a link to a drawing of a nema 23 motor, http://www.kelinginc.net/KL23H286-20-08B.pdf Now don't qoute me on this but I think that the nema size is more the mounting face size and the size of teh actual motor will vary a bit.

Thanks, widgetmaster. Thanks to you and the others, I've got a handle on it.
