Re: Ezilathe, a useful aid to lathe programming.

I have just uploaded the new version of Ezilathe (V1.8.0.0).

Manual in PDF Format Too large, I will have to adjust and download later.

The Update is now available through the downloads section.
Downloads/Others/Ezilathe (File Ezilathe18.zip) contains the complete installation.
(Beta version remains as last used ie V1.7.3, so don't use this)

For a new installation - Create C:\Ezilathe and Add the .EXE and .CHM files. Copy all files from the sample Directory as required (Metric or Imperial). Adjust the data to suit your Requirements.

For an Existing installation, Just replace existing .EXE and .CHM files with the new ones (renaming the old .EXE first always a good idea, just in case).

Forgive me Stu, while I've never had an issue finding the new download before, for some reason I do not see your new version? I also do not see the "Downloads/Others" section so maybe I don't have access to it? As always, thank you for your efforts!

Sorry, Stuffed up. It should read Downloads/Post Files. The new Ezilathe is at the end of page 2.

I have just managed to upload a compressed version of the Manual in PDF Format. - Still looks good
in Downloads\Post Files - second page.

As per std procedure after uploading a new version, I find a couple of issues (inc. Prompt box for tool selection stopped working as the most visible).
This + a few things to do in "Grooving" will be fixed soon as a beta upload.

Hiding in the "Downloads/Post File" section of tis forum is a program for download called "Ezilathe".Instaaero Apk

I am saving hours using this program to generate / test Gcode for my CNC lathe. It may not be a full blown CAM program, but it will put a toolpath around a dxf file as you direct, quick and easy (including all the roughing cuts). With a little time setting up your tool library it will accurately display the finished profile for acceptance or modification as required.

    Check it out.
yeah, Ezilathe is a useful aid to lathe programming, I also have one to use.

Not had much time recently, partially fixed the bugs in grooving, but no other bugs reported. Hardly worth uploading at present.
