    littlemachineshop MT3 spindle

    Hi All,

    just wanted to let you know that there are some pictures and a bit of text on my site about the MT3 spindle we are building for our mill.

    If someone would sell a cheap ISO30 taper spindle that sure would be a great choice for hobby sized machines ! The ones I've seen cost 5k and up.

    The old spindle is MT2 and will not fit for example a 20mm diameter edge-probe. Also, it seems that availability of MT3 tooling is reasonably good both in finland and europe.
