Does anyone know if there is a way to convert the 5v signal to 24v?
Or better yet, a parallellcard that can handle 24v.
Stepperdrivers require 24v signals for step direction.

What sort of drivers do you have ?
24 v seems a little high for a signal.

My breakout board can. Note the open collector external supplied buffered output arrangement.
