    another ebay scam???

Does anyone have experience with a so called "performance cnc router systems" EBAY ID: cabguy2006, out of BC, Canada? Seems to have good feedback and a "nice looking" 48x48" machine for around $6000. I can find nothing about them on entire Internet. Thanks

I don't think he's a scam. I saw someone rave about his machine here but did not list the company. I eventually put it together that this was the listing for the machine (I think I figured it out by cross referencing his eBay feedback). I'll see if I can find the thread/message here.

Here it is... Op seems to be inactive though.

I'm local and if you ever need an insurance visit then I might be able to do that if vendor is OK but might have to charge a bit for time. Pm if needed

OK thanks for volunteering input. I'm in the market for a machine to do light duty and his may just be the ticket. You're in BC, then?

Yes, about 45minutes away or just over an hour during working hours. Assuming he's not way up on the mountains but is relatively close to the freeway. Or could send my Dad maybe... He's got a mill and lathe but CNC is new to him. Still he could suss out a fraud, though I have no reason to believe this is anything other than a legitimate ,one at a time , hobby builder with an unusual frame style. Paypal should protect well enough.

Since you seem to know these things, do you know another source of a reliable machine?

    Re: another ebay scam???

I don't really. It's a little light for anything I would want, even if it would likely be OK for 75% of what I do. I've looked at it mainly as I was wondering who that rave review was about.

Of similar machines I would look at the pilot pro if you are looking for a 4x4 or a CRP kit. But that's me.

    Lewanski,

Did you ever end up making the purchase for this machine. I am interested in this machine as well and wanting to know your feedback?
