    AM882 heats motors up

Anyone use the AM882 drives? I just installed them and they seem to run fine except the motor gets very hot just while idling (not moving). I am only running it at 24V as my 60V supply isn't here yet. Also only using 2.7A setting for 3.0A motors. Using dip switches. I am using the 57BYGH633 motors from Wantai. They are supposed to be 3.0A motors. Wired using full coil. They were only sitting for a few mins and they got hot. They usually don't get that hot unless used for an hour or more.
Appreciate any help anyone could provide.

Do you have the current reduction enabled?

    Re: AM882 heats motors up

the sw 4 need to be off

means the stand still currecnt reduced to 60 percent to preventing the overheating..

if sw4 is on then standstill current equal with the current..

recently I changed a stepper, and this was so eyecatching within leadshine drivers..
manual also says you can reduce more the standstill with protuner..
