did you make any progress jet ?
first thing to do is to get a backup of the flashram.uc file (User Init File) an date it
shift + F2 in motion mechanic
this is how I handle al the files I make

open this in notepad or any plain text editor (notepad ++ is my favourite ! )
and look for any number in the order of 240

    it could well be param 5 and 9 ( 6 and 10 for Y)
supposing MC is still using the same (main) parameters

X-Axis Negative Stroke 5 F Negative Distance from X-Axis Limit Offset.
X-Axis Table Size 9 F Positve Travel Distance from X-Axis Limit Offset

this is how you enter (you're number) in motion mechanic
    3125.000000 9 set_float
    ( mm's in my case )

    thanks for your help!

a cut stretcher is just like a board stretcher, if you need a board at 99 inches instead of the 96 or 98" one you have, you just stick it in the board stretcher to make it 99" and your good. its like that but with a cut.
