    Dahlih MCV-1350 with Fanuc 11M

    Hi!

I have Dahlih MCV-1350 (1984) equipped with Fanuc 11M controls.
Recently, my machine started hanging in the middle of a job work and showing an error "Ram Parity Error Servo #7".
I had huge trouble getting this issue solved.

However, while resolving this issue, i had tried clearing the memory and reloading the parameters.
Now, whenever I send a program to the CNC using a DNC, the machine starts the operation but within a few seconds halts and shows an error which says "Buffer Overload".
While troubleshooting my NC, i have not made any changes to my DNC (which was working fine earlier).
I have tried sending program to CNC at lower baud rates, it responds the same.

    Need help on this.

Also, it would be great help if anyone could help me with a Parameter Manual for Fanuc 11M.

    Regards,

    Star

normally this is a communication parameter issue, specifically baud rate. have you gone as low as 1200 baud? Fanuc 11 has this problem often.

Re: Dahlih MCV-1350 with Fanuc 11M: Solved

    Hey memoryman,

Thanks for your response. I have tried all baud rates. The problem is now solved. There was some issue with the parameters related to I/P and O/P devices.
