Question Lowering Voltage on Power Supplies?

    Howdy all,
    Here is what I got.

My 1100 oz/in servos are rated @ 48 VDC .33 amps no load.
    I'm using 320 Geckos.
Right now I've got two power supplies hooked up @ 52 VDC 16 amps.
I have three 52 VDC 8 amp power supplies available to me.

I'm getting 132 ipm with my 8 tpi ACME now on rapids which is livable but hey I can handle more.

Now if I hook two up to get 104 VDC how can I downgrade the volts to get 70 or so volts?

I was told a rheostat might work?
    Any thoughts?

You don't want to supply more voltage to your servos if they are rated at 48 VDC, then use 48 VDC.

Read the reply from Mariss of Gecko drives in this thread. http://www.cnczone.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2657
