Some very worthwhile insights into engine design from the late Professor Gordon Blair

Here is the link to the site of the Late Professor Gordon P Blair and associates, For those who have not heard of him Professor Blair was one of the most gifted individuals in both two stroke and four stroke race engine design and at the bottom of the linked page you will find a good number of downloadable PDF files of many of his article from Race Engine Magazine all of which are well worth the effort to obtain and file away and read.

Small models or Full size the basics are all the same and efficiency and power to weight matter as much to a Formula One team as they do to a Model Aircraft enthusiast, The linked articles will give you a greater understanding of this interesting subject , Enjoy and learn from a master.
The links are at the bottom of the main page and easy to find, The software they have is also of interest to any engine manufacturer as well as it can save you countless hours of trial and error when all said and done.
