    DAEWOO ACE VC500 TCHANGE PROB

Hi, were having some problems with our toolchanger mc=daewoo ace vc500 with fanuc 21i control. The problem started when the machine dropped a tool. We then went through the procedure at the back of machine to reset tool arm position etc. The magazine turns ok and the tool up/ down works , but we cant swing the arm. error were getting is " No. 2103 must be command manual atc1 cycle " . Any help appreciated
p.s. ( the arm looks like it is in the correct position already )

    Thanks,
    Keith

    Solved

Hi, problem solved. We had to change keep relay 62 bit 4 to zero to clear the alarm. This then allowed the full tool change cycle to run again.

    MDI > OFFSET/SETTING > [ SETING ] PARAMETER WRITE = 1 INPUT (ALARM flashes - ignore it)

    SYSTEM > [ PMC ] > [ PMCPRM ] 62 [ NO SRH ] cursor to bit 4. 1 INPUT

Change PARAMETER WRITE = 0 when you're finished.

Between [ PMCPRM ] and typing 62 you need to also press

[ KEEPRLY ] (to get you to the keep Relay screen)

Hi. Thanks for your replies. We just had a long weekend here in Canada , and the boss apparently called a technician to fix the machine after I left the shop. And today Tuesday, it's working. Really appreciate your help and thanks a lot.

This Glenn again. I over traveled my Z and it won't let me move it, not even to reference it. Anyone had this problem before. Do I have to take the top cover off to fix this problem? Please respond ASAP, Thank you, Glenn

I got the problem fixed but on a Doosan 40/20 the bit is # 64 not # 62. Thank you, Glenn
