Hi, Does anyone know what parameter number and bit turns on extended edit on a Fanuc18i-TB control.

Note that you may not be able to even view the options(parameters 9000 up).

options start at 9920 on 16/18/21 and i-series ;-)
normally you can see, especially on the i-series. I can see mine just fine and I have a 21i. they also punch out without any tricks :-)
anyway, it's a pretty useless option if you ask me. punch out program and edit with notepad is much faster and easier when making complex copy/paste edits. I never use extended edit. Primarily because Mori MAPPS allows copy/paste directly at the control :-D

Some iA and many iB controls have the parameters from 8900 up passwords protected; these are stored in flash, not sram and are not viewable. I am working on this.
