    Older Warthog machine problem

our machine has run for over 13 years...
the IT guys changed out the CPU controlling it while i was out because it ran XP. Now we are having problems.
It looks like wincnc is loosing its place sometimes. and when we run down the X and Y axis's fast it acts like it jams up but there is nothing mechanical jamming it.
Any one have any ideas on a fix or what the problem might be? ... I don't think they kept the old CPU either.

    Thanks

There is a good chance that your new computer does not have native support for PCI. This is a requirement for full speed operation of the WinCNC controller. BTW, MOBO's with chipsets that do support PCI are getting rare. Find one with a B75 chipset. There are still a good number of those available reasonably priced.
