    414 Servo Alarm axis x fanuc o-t

I have a Puma of 1998 fanuco o-t from a month I created this alarm:
    414 x axis servo alarm
    720 00010000
A06B-6079-H207 powers supply alarm ready 8
I checked the engine and the brake and are ok.
Fanuc called and were very generic motor wires and powers supply but this problem I get when I turn on the lathe, but then insisting 3- 4 times off and on again the alarm goes off and the machine works all day without giving me problems.
I have no idea what can be a very general alarm and I would like to know if anyone has had the same problems and how they were resolved.

The control PCB in the drive A06B-6079-H207 has defective component(s). Get the control PCB repaired or replace it. I fix this type of fault on a weekly basis.

if you are desperate to run the machine without production loss for the next couple of weeks:
    1. Leave the machine's main power ON so the drives are powered up all the time.
    2. Warm up the drive with a hair-drier in the morning for about 2-3 minutes. DO NOT USE A HEAT-GUN OR PAINT STRIP GUN!!!!

The problem will get worse if you don't repair it.

Re: 414 Servo Alarm axis x fanuc o-t

    created this alarm:
414 x axis servo alarm detect error
    720 00010000
A06B-6079-H207 amplifier module appears to me the alarm number 8
I checked the engine and the brake and are ok.
I checked the card entry volt amplifier and is ok.
I called the Fanuc but were very general to resolve the fault or problem they told me to wires or power amplifier or module, but this problem I always come out when I turn on the lathe, but then insisting 3- 4 times cycle power moving some thread each time something different, the alarm goes off and the machine works all day without giving me problems.
But sometimes if I do not restart by these alarm:
414 x axis servo alarm detect error
424 y axis servo alarm detect error
    720 01000000
    721 01000000
A06B-6079-H207 amplifier module appears to me the alarm number 2

Control PCB of the drive is problematic. Replace it or get it repaired.

Just try the hair-drier if you are desperate...

I have gone thro few excellent ideas already on this forum.

    Just to add :

Alarm 8 is due to high current

    a) Please disconnect power cable from drive and megger to make sure insulation resistance is fine, with this u would know for sure that Motor and Power cable are doing good

    b) Check winding resistance - it must be uniform

    c) Finally it could be due to weak IGBT or Power PCB, sometimes in case both power PCB and Module are faulty in that case replacing module alone wont work

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm having the same issues alone with alarms 408, 409, 414, and 424 on a 1995 Daewoo Puma 8S with Fanuc OT-C.
