A couple of really annoying problems with SC9

I've been updating to current stable builds and I'm have been having a couple of problems that are annoying as all get-out. These problems have been there since I upgraded to SC9.

    1) invoke 'Save' and every now and then it takes about 5 minutes! ( I'm on a fast machine with lots of memroy ) SC goes into some state where it just waits, there is nothing you can do, until something times out. The file does get saved however. I've had this problem ever since SC7.

    2) Run the post processor, and SC quits once you hit the 'Exit' button. This happens both if I am in the PP window or the PP generator app.

Anybody have these problems or been able to fix them?

I have not experienced either of these problems. Therefore, I suspect that you are having software conflict problems of some kind.

I have the issue you describe even after doing a fresh install of windows8 and installing only sprutcam and MS office. So i think it is in the SW and not your system.

My version of SW is Version 9(build 1.0 Rev 79194 x64 RL 08/04/2015).
