    Linux Mint 17.1

Is anyone running LinuCNC on Linux mint 17.1. I am thinking of converting a windows box to Linux and running linuxCNC on a new router I am looking at.

    Thanks

    Re: Linux Mint 17.1

Just install the Debian Wheezy ISO and then install cinammon as the desktop environment, it should look and feel close enough to mint that you'll never notice any difference. It will be a lot easier than trying to get EMC working on Mint with few if any drawbacks.
