    4020 with extended Z

I just purchased a 4020 XT and I hope someone can answer my question, search didn’t turn anything up.

Will a 4020 XT fit through an 8’ garage door? I know the Z axis motor will need to be removed and maybe the cable carrier also, but will it fit with those removed?

    Thanks in advance .

It should but you may have to remove the ballscrew bearing mount. I fit a 5020a standard column under 83” so the extra 8” should be fine under 96”

i Have a 4020A High column and it measures 93" with the z axis servo motor removed. But i think a 4020 high column (all box way machine) is a inch taller in the same condition

If you remove the Z axis ballscrew you could prolly get it down to 90"....... worst case scenario remove the garage door get out the sawz-all and then patch and re-stucco the house
