What would be the best control board for the 40w china laser?

I currently have : 6c6879-LASER-M2:6

It did it job. But got fried with my laser tube, and as the seller promised to supply me with new 50w 100cm laser tube cheaply. I'm thinking if they got some higher end control board models i could upgrade it also.

The functionality i would be after is grayscale engraving, or 3d engraving. If there is such a board that would do it.

Is this the cheapest that can do this?

Also, as the mainboard seems to still have some functionality. I'm interested in repairing it, it has clearly burnt one of the A3967SLBT microstepper controller chips. From ebay, i can find couple of these but all of them has slightly different code on them. On my board there are two A3967SLBT / A1424 chips. And on ebay i can find A3967SLBT / A1030, A3967SLBT / A0820 and A3967SLBT / A0726. Could one of these work for me? Or maybe if i would replace both chips on the board to identical ones?

I am not an expert, but if you are getting a 50w laser, you will also need a power supply that can handle it. I believe that the power supply that comes with a K40 is rated for 40w not 50w. Wait for someone else to chime in before giving my comment the last go.

Yeah, i know this.

I was asking about the control/main board, not the power source.

This is why I do not post very often. As a courtesy, I thought I would let you know that you would probably need to replace your power supply if you were getting a 50w tube. You made no mention of a new power supply. Just trying to help.
