Aspire from Vetric vs. Aspire from Alphacam

We use Alphacam and purchased Aspire for Alphacam through Vero. I was disappointed to find out the Alphacam version excludes the nesting and posting modules that the Vetric version has and now that I'm having a difficult time doing sign work with Alphacam, I'm wondering if I would have been better off with the Vetric version? If I could have a re-do, I would definately buy the Vetric version and if there is any way possible, I would really like to switch.

Is nesting in AlphaCAM an option that you don't have? I would expect AlphaCAM's nesting to be far superior to Aspire's.

Yes, they do, and I'm probably just letting my frustrations get the best of me. Apparently there is a problem with Alphacam and Xilog when it comes to trying to router complex curves. Every time I try to do sign work, characters like 3, 8 or B always get destroyed. It doesn't show up in the tool paths or at the simulator. I have to run a test to make sure the machine doesn't eat up an expensive piece of material, which is really aggravating especially when it's something that takes a lot of time. We intend to do this often but the error is a hinderance. I can't seem to get the assistance that I need from SCM, spent much time on the phone with tech support to find out that there is "another" person who needs to do the adjustment on my PP but I can't get him to return my call.

Are you offsetting to the outside? Try offsetting the geometry and cut on the center line.

Is it Hector that needs to modify the post?
