    Re: fanuc 6m locked parameters

    when i do so, i only see macro up to 551.

    i found them under the button ''set" when i press it twice.

    or does my machine don,t have more?

    if it has any, macros would only be present on a working machine.
    there is a parameter to check and if it is set it will say use macro when T code is read and another one for M code.
    if they are set then you should have tool change macro, otherwise you dont have it.

    But what version your M63 software and what chips (numbers) are installed on your ROM PCB?
    If I have in such composition this series/version then I can try to look into ASM code. There is well seen that disturbs a parameters entering ;-).

    If your version software is M63 Vers.02 I try to look access for parameters 120,122 in ASM code. Version you can seen when CNC power on with pressed Emergency button.

    Re: fanuc 6m locked parameters

    nijhuis,
    I have checked software m93 vers.02 for address to cell parameters P120, P122 and P123.
    These cells are absent in internal parameters table for this reason in this software to him haven't access.

    Re: fanuc 6m locked parameters

    Yes, to these parameters locked entering and from software to him haven't request to read.
    For decision of the problems the error 451 for 5-th axis it is necessary following:
    - Check all 5-th axis parameters (DMR,CMR, e.t.c.);
    - Check pulse coder for 5-th and his wire;
    - Check driver for 5-th axis and his connections;
    - Check diagnostic N804, must be a value close to zero (Adjustment by resistor RV2 Offset, under Par.007 #7=0). All rest additions is described in Maintenance Manual.

    the problem is solved.

    3 parameters are set on on the rong place. and parameter 84 for the zpoint ref needed another value.

    thanks for al the suggestions.

    Only I do not understand as parameter N84 can influence upon alarm >> error 451 t servo?<<
    Possible this can to explain us two unknown and secret parameters!? ;-)

    hello
    If programs are written to use macros and subprograms , is there a way to figure out what those macros settings and subprogram are. I am afraid that when sending programs(someone else wrote) to the machine , i coming to the conclusion i might of forced macros and subprograms out of the memory to make space . I removed two programs and began looking for area where the macros are stored. The machine is a Amada OCTO 334 NC punch press, using a Fanuc 6M controler . I dont have the Fanuc 6m operators manual which covers the macros , nor can i find it online. please someone help

    Thanks

    I know this is an old post but i have been trying to edit the 0000-0005 parameters on an old Matsura but they are locked. Does anyone know the procedure for editing these parameters?

    Thanks and cheers

    I am not aware of locked parameters on the FS6. Turn the PWE switch (on motherboard) ON, select MDI/ESTOP and edit the parameter.
