Re: how can i control spindle with A932A breakout board
I use that same board. I don't think it has any kind of spindle output, or if it does I wasn't able to figure out how to use it. There's a couple of options.... for cheap and dirty spindle control you could use a Vactrol, which works for ballpark RPM control but no power on/off and is the least "linear" so you will have to play with it some to get it tuned. I went with the C41 from CNC4PC ( CNC4PC ) but I am using LinuxCNC, there could also be reasons to pick the C6 with Mach? I don't know. With moderate tweaking I was able to get within 100 RPM (Actually within about 30RPM, if I remember correctly) spindle control from it without having to add a spindle RPM feedback sensor or anything.
I'm using the factory G0704 Motor control at the moment.
Q: How many tools does it take before a simple task becomes a project?
A: Just one. I'm the Tool that turns a simple task in to a project.
