    Drawer Slide Build

Ten years ago I built JGRO's router. I have never been satisfied with it. It has always had slop in the Z axis that I could not get out. The design was not the problem. My build was the problem.

I have always wanted to do a drawer slide build and of course I have read all the discussions about the faults with drawer slides. Most of the play in drawer slides is lateral (in the drawer) I thought I could get this out. My build has very little play and is as rigid as I can expect from a wood build.

I won't go into any more details now but if anybody is interested I will be glad to discuss any part of the build.

I have attached a couple of photos and I have a Sketchup drawing, although very unorganized, of the poject.
