    Cable layout for 9 Pin D-Profibus interface

    What is the normal cable layout to connect two devices with 9 Pin D-Profibus interface?

    Is this correct?

    Pin 3 to Pin 3 (P)
    Pin 8 to Pin 8 (N)
    Cable shield to both chassis D-Sub
