there is a "Documents" folder in the "Program Files" with PDFs ( be a good place to start ) ( try also in the public folder if not there )

How familiar are you with Mastercam ( older style Tool Manager (.TOOLS-8 etc ) ?

You can open the Tools Manager outside of a session to do tool builds etc
- Start button >> Mastercam 8 >> Utilities (I think)

Hello guys,

I am trying to do the same and I have found some information. I read that you have to make and save your files somehow in excel databases and then use some kind of ToolLibmaker.zip to transform every tool into a .tooldb file I have no idea in either respect. I even try to locate the guy whom originally did this work in my former company with no luck. I also saw a video in youtube about getting data directly from vendors such as sandvik using format ISO 13399 files and importing then directly into mastercam. No luck with that. If anyone has any info please, share.
