tm-1 and a seven foot door

Can it fit? How much "stuff" (z axis motor etc.) needs to be taken off? How easy would it be to reinstall "stuff" if I only had 9 foot ceilings (wife has already vetoed taking a chainsaw to house, I asked....)

Managed to fit a 5500 lb cnc knee mill in my garage but I want to upgrade....

You might be ok. It says max shipping height is 86 inches, though, so you might be hosed there. You can probably take off some of the cable track and the stuff at the rear. I can't say for certain. You might want to ask the HFO. Or, just have the rigger get a running start at it and ram it through the door!

You have NINE foot ceilings? I can't speak to the TM-1 but, you may be able to get away with a VF1 or 2 in that much ceiling. I'm almost positive the TM-1 would be fine as well.

As for moving it thorugh the seven foot door, I also can't speak to the TM but, any VF-(0,1,2) with the umbrella tool changer will fit through the door if you lower the Z-axis, remove the Z-axis motor and lay the cable guide on its side first. It took the technician fifteen minutes to get mine through the door.
