    208V 3ph machine on 240V 3ph?

I have ran 3ph 208v motors on a 240v with no problems, but what about a entire machine with all kinds of PLC's and controllers runing on 240v instead of the 208v that it was made for, Will it be ok?

    Thanks

Alot depends on the individual system, for example some switching power supplies will run on 110vac to 240vac.
Fanuc state ±10% and I have had to fit buck transformers to satisfy this.
Every system requires evaluation, motors, like line-operated transformers are pretty durable and rugged.
The bottom line is that anything over the manufacturers limit has to be assessed and if used over this, is a gamble.
