I have not powered the mill up for about 6 weeks and the other day when I did I received a " X AXIS DRIVE HIGH VOLTAGE IS LOW " fault. Looking at the lights on the motor drive boards the X and Y axis both have faults. I have 127 VDC at the power connections. The Z axis board shows green light when moved to the other positions,(X & Y). The mill operated correctly the last time it was powered up, and both the machine disconnect and the breaker feeding it have been off so it couldn't have been a transient voltage spike. I realize the BDCM control is antiquated and am wondering if there is any way to use the existing motors with a different controller and drives and run it from Mach3. Any and all advice is welcome.
