Relationship between lead screw and pulley

Hello guys I'm pretty new in this field and as I didn't find a plan for a cnc that suits my needs I try to design my own.
My question would be what is the relationship between the lead of the screw if I have a lead screw on the z axis and the the pulley system from the y axis.
    Thanks

Maybe you need to describe it some more, as I'm not understanding what you are asking.
If they're on separate axes then there isn't one.

If for thé y axis I use a pulley and for the x axis I use a lead screw do I need to calibrate the motors separately?

Yes if each axes has a different ratio or the screw pitch is different, then you setup each axes, you should always calibrate each axes anyway, as there can be slight differences in the pitch of the screws/belts/rack & pinion being used

It depends on what control software you are using, some have an axes calibration built into the software that you can use

Mach 3 has this feature, open Settings, then look above the Reset Button, you will see axes calibration, it is easy to use, there are many Youtube videos on how to do this
