A very brief shuftie through the Path Pilot forum on CNC Zone suggests others are using EMC Post.
BCC list some EMC Posts here -
CNC Machine Post Processors | CAD/CAM Software | BobCAD-CAM | BobCAD-CAM

i actually just spent a few hours today customizing a lathe post for mach. If the EMC post isn't perfect, i'm sure we can customize it so it is.
Ideally you'll need to test with a full or good range of operations, different sections of the post processor deal with behaviours under different operations.
In a perfect world the authors of controller software would publish decent documentation on the G Code requirements and the CAM software publishers would produce decent or even rudimentary documentation on post processors for their software and us poor users could then read both and with a little luck produce a reasonable post processor.
Unfortunately the race to release is king, all else is very, very, very secondary,
Regards,
Nick
Mach has fairly good documentation for the Gcode it requires. I have not checked the pathpilot documentation, it is terrible?
Does Pathpilot have "wizards" like Mach does? You could always use the wizards to export the required Gcode formatting, and kind of reverse engineer the code requirements for the canned cycles that way.
Any good documentation on post processors on the Bob Cad side?
nope. not that i have found.
