Hello Friends,

We have laser marking engraving machine which have steady Z axis, but we want to develop for auto focus adjustment z axis. Can any one suggest how can i measure the laser beam is focused on curvy materials.

Are there any sensors available which can measure the focus of laser on the curvy materials.


Any help would be appreciated.

Check out Precitec. I know they make height sensors. Maybe they might have an attachment for your machine.
