    Has anyone really used UCCNC?

It looks good in the web-site, but that can be very mis-leading. I'm wondering if anyone has actually used the software and the motion control card? If yes, how do you like it? Bugs? Performance? Accuracy? Easy to use? Anything else you might want to mention?

I started using the UC100 motion controller a year ago with Mach3. It always worked without any issues.
For my router machine I upgraded to the UCCNC software a few weeks now and I could not be happier, it is superior to Mach3. motion is way smoother. parts coming out with better finish.
I did not encounter to any bugs yet, but let's talk about this again a month later.

    Hi
Here is a link to my thread about converting from mach
    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/uccnc-...-software.html
Here is a link with my mill running a 10 tool ATC and doing rigid tapping
    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/uccnc-...ing-video.html

As of right now I have removed Mach from both routers and have ZERO regrets. The planer is just so much better than Mach. The mill is a little trickier but it's working. vmax549 has been writing custom macros for me to try and bridge the gap. All and all it's been a pleasure.

Make sure it will currently do what you need it to do. If you need tool compensation or G18 G19 you are out of luck for now.

    I Love it,

Alot smoother than mach 3, and less messy. I got sick of mach 3 setup files corrupting and since move to uccnc had no big issues. (with uc300)

Simple to use and seem to get a better finish cut.

And CNC drive seem to be pretty quick to fix bugs, if people take the time to report them.
