hi guys, first of all thank you all for being here, i have bought a mactron 2300x1500 and recently i changed the tube, replaced it, because it started to sparkle. i have made the alignments so wherever the laser moving head is the beam enters the hole. there is just one problem, when the head is near to the second mirror it cuts and engraves perfectly, but when i send it on the far end of the machine, the power starts to drop. its driving me crazy. i have worked 3 days in a row trying to figure out. So i would really really appreciate it if i could find some support here thanks in advance

2300mm its a far way for the beam you need something like a expander lens lock at lightobject marco sells some.

The larger the machine to more precise the alignment. I use wood disks the size of the mirrors and work carefully from the tube to the lens. Use low power and always hit the center of the wood at all orientations. Never tape mirrors. Replace the wood with the mirror after you prove that the beam is in the center To be safe shut your eyes when you test fire. Should take a couple hours if you haven't done this before

yes, the larger the machine the more precise the calibration, problem is that i cant move the second mirror, it does not have an axis so i can align it, its static
