Can't get Y and A slave moving in the same direction

    Hey G'day people,

I have nutted out what I need to with UCCNC except I can not get Y and A moving in the same direction.

I know how to do it in Mach its real simple.

Can I get it to happen in UCCNC nup..

I have a CnC where Y axis needs two steppers.. so it has a slave A.

Ive spent 2 hours looking and am probably overlooking because Im looking to hard if that makes sense.

    Cheers and thanks in advance.

    Steve

On the axis setup page for the drive going backwards check the active low boxes on step and direction (or uncheck) and that will reverse the direction.

    Derek hey G'day,

Many thanks for the reply, of course right in front of my nose. But when your so used to do things in a different way sometimes the bleeding obvious is well just too obvious.

    Grateful for your post,

    Cheers,
    Steve

Don't feel too bad - I had the same problem when I switched over. They should really re-lable that checkbox or at least but (reverse axis) in parens in there.

    Hey g'day,

Thank you for your post, I'm sure they will. I guess sometimes the coders/manufacturers assume that the person on the other end knows what it means. No their fault more mine for not being smart enough lol.

    Otherwise functioning as intended.

    Cheers,
    Steve
