I welded some 40x40x4mm iron tubes. The tube is 1 meter long. I've been very careful not to bend it got bent anyway. Now I need to straighten it. What is the best way for this? Heat, hit with an axe, jumping on it?
Thanks.

heat the side thats curved outward. The shrink of the heat will pull it back.
So if you made a T-joint, heat the side without the welds.
I have always welded one side a bit then the other an so on so the heat is the same both sides I was a coded welder years ago last job was on channel tunnel
