    Optimum BF46 CNC Conversion.

Hello, I have a BF 46 I want to convert to CNC. It is already fitted with Ball Screws. Do I buy the CNC Kit from Optimum in Germany or can I buy a kit here in Australia. Are there any CNC Kit suppliers in Brisbane. Is there any member who could help me with the selection of components.
    Thanks
    George.

    Hi George,

I am also undergoing a CNC conversion, I am in not so sunny Sydney. I will be starting on the ballscrews, I will start on the dimensions. I have 10 years plus Mach3 experience. What stage are you at?

Hi Rickstar, I have made a sturdy stand/ enclosure. I have Made a mist coolant system. The Machine I have is a Optimum BF46Vario. Its quite a heavy, sturdy machine. Its been fitted with Ball screws in the factory. I really need help choosing CNC components for it. I want accuracy. I want good quality gear but have no idea where to start. There is so much available. I would appreciate if could contact you somehow and have a chat.
    Thanks
    George.

    Done Colin

Use cleapath SD motors, a centroid acorn CNC controller.
Used omron rotary encoder for spindle speed reading into centroid acorn for spindle speed control
