    Locking Toolpaths

Is there a way to lock the toolpaths in the toolpath manager so they cant be accidentally edited or deleted?

Thanks for any help you can give!

The padlock only stops the tool path from being regenerated. I was looking for something that would literally stop me from changing any of the settings to it or deleting the whole tool path itself.

but seriously, as long as you don't regen, it should post out the original settings.

The Idea of the lock in MC it so you can go in and try to make changes. if you cange some thing it will not update NCI and will not go thru.if you regen it as you tried to make changes it will tell you you can't as it is locked. There is no way to make sure you do not delete a operation. that is why it is good to use the Autosave or Backup options if you are prone to doing this.

Also remeber if you delete an operation. and do not go on to another path for example right click and select undelete and it will bring the path back.
(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
