Why I can´t 4th axis create NC code?

    Hello,

I created the VNC file with 4th axis milling(I attached vnc file (v.9.0.6)). I have 4th axis post but I can´t generate g code with A coordinate when I used 4-axis operation. Gibbs only generates X,Y,Z g-code without A address. Does anybody know where is the wrong? It´s the post or settings. Does anybody has a right metric post? I´m sorry for my english language

Thank you a lot for the answer

Jeff or Flashmaster, have you resolved the issue?
I am having exactly the same problem, with the following setup:
4-axis vertical mill, enabled in Gibbs document control and using a correct post (Haas [xx] RMxxxx.pst, and have tried lots of others)
All the G-code comes out with a single A-axis positioning line at the beginning, and no live 4th-axis motion in the body of the program.
    Suggestions? Thanks!

Assuming you actually have rotary mill toolpaths, the posts you are trying to use are not rotary mill posts, or they were incorrectly modified. If you got these posts off the web, then more likely than not, they are probably junk or have some weird modifications to them for a specific requirement at the shop they originated from. Contact your reseller for a good post.

Our reseller has been less than responsive, which is why I'm seeking information here. CNCzone has been a great source of information in the past.

Go directly through the post department at Gibbs. All of my post modifications are done by them with zero problems.
