    Tech info needed

So, I work in a electric motor shop, and we have a Harrison alpha 550 plus CNC lathe. It was manufactured in 1998, and never had a problem with it up until now. My question to you guys is for the last couple of months, we've been getting fault codes on both the x, and z axis. They seem to be intermittent to the point that they even had some tech gurus come in and look at the machine and they couldn't find anything wrong. Any ideas on where to start looking? Could it be a parameter issue, or electrical?

    Much appreciation for any input.

Intermitten things are usually some mechanical device malfuctioning. Electonics usually burn up and that's it. Good luck.
