I'm close to Woodstock and just getting started in the "larger" CNC world. I built a Prusa i3 3D printer last year and love it. I have ideas for a new one but thought a CNC router would be handy to make parts for it.

Hi, I'm in Scarborough, couple hours away.
I am certainly up for this. I am a Supervisor working at a Machineshop in the Aerospace industry for the most part. Well that and oil and Gas. I am always looking to share ideas and see who has tried what. My name is Richard and I currently work for a Company Called Desch Canada. We are Located in Cambridge.
I am in Newmarket, Ontario and just joined this forum. I own a machine shop and now run CNC as well. I have a particular issue with a Mikron 4 axis CNC which has been converted to Fanuc, but then the parameters were lost when the machine was moved. Got most of them programmed back in but need some of the option Parameters configured. Would like to get the machine going again but need someone that knows Fanuc options for the Mikron which used to be a Heidenhain control.
I took the same program (Only at Conestoga College. Which shop are you heading to in Cambridge?
I am CNC service engineer, living in Guelph.
Hi Guys, sorry I'm not going to be much help as I'm only starting out. I have a router which is driving me nuts lol. And still not running since August. Just installed a 36 volt power supply to replace the 48 volt that was supplied with it. (the drivers only call for 36 volt so I thought that might be the problem. Nope. Motors still don't turn. I have a mach 3 motion board and usb cable to windows xp. ...lol....maybe u can't teach an old dog new tricks...
Just joined this site. Been a cnc machinst for over 20 years. Looking to buy a cnc router for home. I work and live in Chatham Ontario. Looking to be a part of a group.
