    Solidcam Turning multiple coordsys

    Hello,

I need help for a problem.
I have a part in turning mode, that have 2 clamps.
How can I put the second origin for clamp 2, that I can have a good simulation for the other side?
For example, I have a contour on a side, and on the other side, is a hole(see picture attached).

    Wait for an answer.

    Have a great day!

Have you watched any of the videos or read any of the manual? Just add another coordinate system to the other side if you need one there. Add as many coordinate systems as you wish to have.

Seems like we can't do that with turning ! . If you add a second coordinate it removes the first one and creates the second coordinate . Not sure why !

    Hello,

    Thanks for answers.
As imachining-6061 said, it did not work, I do not know why.
I finaly found a solution, from machine setup I modify the pp from TURNING to MILL-TURN.
In this way it works great

Maby somebody come with another solution!

    Thanks again!

I found the same problem so unless you make a model file of part after first op. I haven't found a way to save the part after simulation
    I will try mill/turn now

Yeah, In order to do multiple coordinate systems you will need to use MillTurn, Turning does not like it when you try and add multiple systems...
