    Mach 3, ESS, Tormach 1100

Trying to run a Tormach PCNC 1100 mill using standalone Mach3 (not the tormach version) and a Ethernet Smoothstepper (ESS)... Anyone had any success with this? I can get everything to work but the spindle. Mach 3 using the parrallel port operates everything... using ESS everything works EXCEPT the Spindle... Any ideas? I've also posted in the Tormach section but still no answers that work.
    Thanks
    Andy

Re: Mach 3, ESS, Tormach 1100

Okay, got it working now... not sure exactly what changed though. Created a new profile (did not clone a previous machine)... ran the Warp9 SCU... Set up the ports and pins... and everything INCLUDING the spindle works. Only difference in this and previous attemps was the creating a new profile, not cloning one. I've gone through the port/pins, spindle, ESS configs and all are set up the same as the old installs (that still don't work), only thing I can figure is something in the xml file is different (haven't dug through it yet). I'm posting this hoping it might help someone in the future.
