Hi,

Yesterday I saw a video on youtube from a tool supplier (to not name it, tung aloy) showing a high feed turning tool. And it made me think of, is it really worth it? Like, in milling, sure it worth it but the setup get the force of machining toward the table. But in turning, like if you're OD turning, the force created will be mostly toward X-, which can deflect the stock and in worst case, rip to stock of the chuck if you're not using the tailstock...

Anyway, I wonder if there's many people out there using this method. And I would like your opinion on it. From my perspective... I'm a bit sceptical on this.
