Hi I have an ECOCA SJ-20 which I have integrated a Hydrafeed barfeeder to, after electrical connections power and relays were installed I enabled barfeed KEEP RELAY K5.3 but the machine will now not run. The first line of code is executed but then an NC error (red flashing led on controller) stops further running of code with no alarm code displayed.

My question is how can I now diagnose an NC error without any codes?

Ok I have found the problem from the PMC Ladder BARALM is looking for an open state for an alarm and the barfeed is opposite ie NO normally open closed in alarm condition.

I don't have any experience editing PMC Ladders so would appreciate any help.

Ok I got my PMC Ladder edited and I wan't to re upload however when I try I get the following error

"this function is protected"
I am loading via PCMCIA card.

I think this is because the Ladder has to be stopped! I don't know how to do this on my controller.
