    X6-2200L or... ?

    Hello
Let me start by saying i'm new to the cnc machine world but have been very interested in it over the last couple of years.
What do you all think of a X6-2200L as a first machine or how about the inventables fully loaded cnc with a dewalt 900w router?
It's primarily for hobby use making wood signs in hardwood and softwood, also cutting small shapes in fairly thin 1.5mm - 3mm aluminium sheet.
    Thanks

If you want to mill aluminium I would choose the X6-2200L for sure. With it's lineair guides it's stable enough, motor with VFD has more than enough power. With the smaller X4-800 I've done engraving in oak without issues.

Unless there's a huge price difference I'd go the X6. The spindle on these things is so quiet compared to a Bosch router it's ridiculous.

I second what dharmic said. I couldn't believe how quite the spindle was. And I can vouch for omiocnc's customer service. For being overseas they are prompt about answering emails within 24hours and I had a faulty power supply with mine which was replaced free under warranty!
