    Hypertherm HT400 conversion to HD3070

Our plasma shop is not heated and we are looking to replace our HT400 with a HD3070 with upgraded torch, will use glicol in water for current. Have a Burny 5 controller on a Messer table. We are a small shop cutting 12ga to 3/4" A36 and SS material. Cutting speed not a factor.

    Questions:
    1. Cut quality and curve between machines ?
    2. Can we use the HF start from HT400 on HD3070 ?
    3. How difficult will it be to connect HD3070 ?
    4. Besides power source and gas controller, what else do we need ?
    5. What is considered low hours on a power source ?
    6. Will THC still work ?
    7. Consumable life ? We get +-250 pierces on 1/4" material with HT400.
    8. Did anybody do this conversion before ?
    9. Any advise will be appreciated.

    Thanks,
