Unhappy Yaskawa DC Minertia Servo encoder....And im an idiot.

Well, I tried to take apart this old dirty Yaskawa servo and that included removing the encoder. Mistake! The encoder hub wouldnt come off- lok-tite. So I gently heated the shaft with a tiny pencil torch. This happened:

    Attachment 296252

    Attachment 296254

    Attachment 296256

It was some type of easily meltable plastic. So can I get a replacement disk? Or am I stuck putting another encoder on there?

    Im so sorry...

Usdigital sells replacement encoder disks. You can contact them to see if compatible. If not, complete encoders with disks are around $50

Btw, if that pancake motor is like pmi ones, taking motor apart will demag it and ruin it. Not sure if like its competitor or not. Just a thought.
