Change chip conveyer reverse button functionality

    Hello.

SL250 / 18i-T lathe here. Is it possible to change the chip conveyor reverse movement button so that it would stay on, instead of having to hold it down?

    BIG thanks!!!

If this is at all similar to an SL1, then I would say yes. You can probably add or rewire to use a latching relay for this function. I dont have wiring diagrams for your lathe though so I cant be specific. If you have diagrams I can help you. PM me if youd like to discuss.

Depends. If the conveyor control is on the flat panel, I think it would require a ladder change, as I don't ever remember seeing a keep relay for that. If it's the older style on the conveyor, yes you can but will require the addition of a relay.
