    Power Tapping

Hello group, I have job coming up that I need to tap 400 #4-40 and 300 #6-32 holes thru. a 1/4" thick 6061-T6 aluminum plate. Is there a good way of power tapping these small holes without breaking a lot of taps?

Any suggestions will be very helpful.

sounds like you need a taping head such as one of these: Tapmatic UK - tapping attachments, tap chucks & cutting fluids

or something like this for high speed cncTapmatic UK - tapping attachments, tap chucks & cutting fluids
